I’ve decided to start a reading list. I’ll post books that I want to read, books that I’m reading, and finished books… all of this broken down by year. I’ve always worked so hard at both writing books and learning new stuff for my job that I’ve neglected reading for pleasure over the past couple of decades. I used to read a lot when I was a teen and during my six year tenure in the Marines. Once I left the Corps and started school, I was too busy with homework and life to actually read. That needs to change. So this is my attempt to get back into books.
Rules: Can’t be a technical book. Those don’t count; even though I enjoy technology. And it can’t be a book that I’ve read before.
Meditations – Marcus Aurelius
Time Enough For Love – Robert Heinlein
Storm Static Sleep: A Pathway Through Post-Rock – Jack Chuter
